Results from the second full length race at the 2026 Australian WorldSBK at Phillip Island.

Nicolo Buelga took victory in Race 2 at Phillip Island. The race was full wet, but the trend of the race and the gap at the end was not too dissimilar from Bulega's dominant dry weather form, winning by 11 seconds in the end with yet another lights-to-flag win.

Axel Bassani took second place, having run in third for the majority of the 22 laps before Yari Montella crashed from second in the closing stages.

That Montella crash also promoted Alvaro Bautista to third for his first podium with Barni Ducati.

Tarran Mackenzie enjoyed a career-best result in fourth. He was under late pressure from Alex Lowes until the Bimota rider crashed at the first turn.

Andrea Locatelli put in a strong early push to get into the top-10, then faded from mid-race onwards but benefited from others' crashes to end up fifth.

Behind, Danilo Petrucci spent most of the second half of the race battling with Miguel Oliveira before finally breaking away from his teammate and getting past Iker Lecuona for sixth. Oliveira passed Lecuona, too, on the final lap, taking seventh and demoting Lecuona to eighth.

Lorenzo Baldassarri took ninth despite serving a double long lap penalty for jumping the start, and Garrett Gerloff completed the top-10.

Aside from Alex Lowes and Montella, there were three other crashes: Sam Lowes went down at turn three and was taken to the medical centre, Xavi Vierge crashed at turn two, and Mattia Rato crashed at turn four on the opening lap.
