Nicolo Bulega leads the championship after winning the opening race in commanding fashion.
Podiums for both Yari Montella and Lorenzo Baldassarri leave them in the top-three of the standings, of course.
Bimota is in the top-four of the championship thanks to Axel Bassani, the only non-Ducati rider in the top-six, with Sam Lowes and Iker Lecuona behind.
BMW also has its two riders in the top-10, Miguel Oliveira eighth and Danilo Petrucci 10th.
It was not the ideal start to the championship for two-time champion Alvaro Bautista, the Barni Ducati rider crashing on the second lap.
