Conditions were effectively dry in Warm Up, but there were some spots of rain throughout. They were enough to affect the mentality of the riders, no doubt, and perhaps were a factor in Nicolo Bulega not topping Warm Up.
The Italian was fastest in all sessions from the opening morning of testing on Monday until Race 1 yesterday, but with light spots of rain falling in Warm Up he fell to second behind Sam Lowes by 0.003 seconds.
The two Ducati riders were the only ones in the 1m28s, Alex Lowes in third on a 1m29.107s.
Axel Bassani was fourth on the second Bimota while Race 1 podium finishers Yari Montella and Lorenzo Baldassarri were fifth and seventh, respectively, split by Iker Lecuon.
Garrett Gerloff, Alvaro Bautista, and Miguel Oliveira completed the top-10.
