Nicolo Bulega stays on top of the timesheets during final practice for the 2026 World Superbike season opener at Phillip Island.
The reigning title runner-up - fastest throughout the Phillip Island pre-season test, then in both of Friday’s Free Practice sessions - lowered his pace to a 1m 28.273s to stay 0.3s clear of fellow Ducati rider Sam Lowes (Marc VDS).
Bimota duo Axel Bassani and Alex Lowes were again competitive in third and fourth. Kawasaki’s Garrett Gerloff and Bulega’s Aruba.it Ducati team-mate Iker Lecuona were the other riders within half a second of Bulega.
The BMWs of Danilo Petrucci and Miguel Oliveira were evenly matched in ninth and tenth, with Xavi Vierge the leading Yamaha in 13th. Wild-card Ryan Vickers was the top Honda in 15th.
