Sam joined Crash.net in February 2026 with extensive experience in motorsport media, having covered numerous championships around the world.

After graduating from the University of Central Lancashire in 2013, Sam quickly found work reporting on F1, while gaining on-site experience with the BTCC and, latterly, W Series.

Sam has since gone on to lead Autosport and Motorsport.com's coverage of F2 and F3, and has been published in Forbes, Time Magazine, and The Times.

Away from the track, Sam can often be found in the Portman Road stands, cheering on Ipswich Town Football Club with his two daughters. He is also sure there are not many other tuba players in the motorsport media family.
