2026 US MotoGP: Which riders have made it into Q2?

Marc Marquez brushed off a terrifying crash on Friday morning at the MotoGP United States Grand Prix to end the day fastest of all.

The factory Ducati rider is a seven-time winner at COTA in his career and is expected to be the main threat for victory this weekend.

But his round three of the 2026 season got off to a terrible start, after he suffered a violent 192km/h crash in FP1.

He walked away from the crash relatively unscathed, and it clearly didn’t dent his confidence, as he stormed to top spot in Practice.

Marc Marquez led the way with a 2m00.927s to bag a direct spot in Q2 for Saturday’s qualifying shootout.

He will be joined by Ai Ogura, who brushed off a crash in Practice to drag his Trackhouse Aprilia to second in Practice.

Fabio Di Giannantonio also had a crash in Practice, but was third at the chequered flag as he goes into Saturday chasing back-to-back poles in 2026.

Marco Bezzecchi was fourth on the factory Aprilia, with the championship leader heading Alex Marquez and Pedro Acosta.

Jorge Martin brushed off an early crash to finish seventh, while Pecco Bagnaia, Luca Marini and Enea Bastianini took the final direct Q2 spots.

Qualifying for the 2026 US Grand Prix is at 3:50pm GMT.
