Andy Meyrick made the best possible start to his British F3 International Series career, taking pole position and victory in both races at the season opener at Oulton Park.
Nick Tandy enjoyed a solid start to his maiden season in the British F3 International Series after the JTR Marshall Westland driver secured a place in the top ten in qualifying for the opening race of the 2008 season at Oulton Park.
In a fabulous last lap dice Yukio Kagayama took the first race of the day at Oulton Park from team-mate John Reynolds by the very smallest of margins. Michael Rutter had to battle back to the front from twelfth to take third.
It was flames ahoy and an almost toasted Noriyuki Haga in the warm-up lap for the first race of the day at Oulton Park with a rather unusual scenario on the warm-up. As the bikes rounded the circuit on the warm-up lap there was a sudden burst of flame from the back of the grid.
